How is this show so great so early? It’s like it walked in the door full of confidence and pride and demanded attention. I’ve been so worried about Major and Clive finding the truth about Liv, that I didn’t even consider the possibility of Peyton learning the secret. It was just as Earth shattering an event as if any bigger characters found out. She has disappeared and not only is her relationship with Liv crushed, but her love life with Ravi (which is revealed to be very strong in this episode) might also be destroyed. Ravi seemed to be extremely distraught by it all and the looks on his face seem like he may be considering jumping ship. I hope he doesn’t though, he’s such a great character and he’s on such a great road to finding a cure.

The way it was executed was fantastic. Liv’s spawn went sadistic and tracked her down after murdering his own aunt and had to be put down. She rose to the occasion and Peyton, who was unconscious when the fight started, saw the end result of Liv in “full on zombie mode.” This is Liv’s second zombie kill of the season so I hope she can manage to get used to it after failing with Blaine so hard and getting Lowell killed. Blaine and his henchmen have to be stopped. They’re far too dangerous. I can’t imagine things getting much easier in the future either. Speaking of the future, I’m wondering where this show can go next season. They’re doing so much this season and straying so far away from the source material that I honestly have no expectations for what could happen next season other than greatness.

We got to see two Liv personalities for the price of one this week. The cheerleader was a lot of fun and seemed as though it could do wonders for Liv’s popularity and relationships. Then we got the stoner which was hilarious. She was almost the opposite how she was as the cheerleader. Instead of being really upbeat and spirited, she became a careless layabout. Luckily she realized how useless she was and ate some more cheerleader. The story of the A**hat murders was pretty interesting. Probably because of the close ties with the main story. Liv made another zombie and he went rabid, causing the deaths of two or more teens. It was a good way to burden Liv with some more guilt.

I was definitely worried about Clive eating some stoner brains by mistake as well. He’s so out of the loop that it’s hard not to feel sorry for him. I still suspect he’ll figure things out though. Zombie’s are far fetched, but he has to know something isn’t right. I just hope he never knows what he ate this week. And Kudos to Malcolm Goodwin’s wardrobe. He definitely has my vote for best dressed of the season. I was particularly envious of that bad a** jacket he wore for most of the episode.

As for the rest of the episode, they’re were plenty of dramatic turns. Major may not make it, seeing as how he is now in the hands of the enemy due to his recklessness. He really needs to be working on his stealth before showing his face to the bad guys. For all he knew, Julian could’ve been there when he showed up as a fake health inspector. It was just a bad move in a series of obsessive and desperate behaviors. He’ll be lucky to make it out, but if he does, maybe he’ll be able to save Liv’s younger brother who seems to have wandered right into the middle of a sh*t show. Let’s just see where this goes and after the Peyton reveal, I will do my damnedest to expect EVERYTHING!
