Community: Season 6, Episode 2: Lawnmower Maintenance and Postnatal Care

Yes, more Community please. This show is great. It is maintaining its winning formula. Introducing different worlds and unexpected schools of thought is what makes this show what it is. Introducing the virtual reality apparatus and the world therein was a stroke of genius. Dean Pelton has always been a very extreme character. He always takes things a bit too far once he gets started. It was perfect for him to be the one to get involved in the virtual world.

“Jesus wept!” Came his power mad cry every time he completed an immensely overcomplicated task with simple results. He refused to leave his virtual world and the power (not really) he wielded. Everyone could tell how ridiculous his behavior was. Jeff and Frankie in particular just didn’t really want to deal with it, but Jeff decided to help anyway.

In the meantime, Britta, always being the worst, is having issues with her independence. Her generous and loving parents, who she can only remember as monsters, are paying for everything she needs and going through her friends to do so. After seeing all of her friends as traitors and losing everyone and everything, Frankie convinces her to accept who she is and realize that everything is only a stepping stone.
In the dean situation: Jeff seeks the architect of the VR equipment, Elroy (another new cast member), to come and free the dean. The solution is of course a simple distract and grab job. Jeff is, as Abed once said, the father figure of the group. This one is true to form and I love it. Yes!
